Where Data Lives

Hide Face Video is designed to process video on your device.

Your source videos are processed locally on your device for face redaction.
Hide Face Video does not need to upload your video just to detect or blur faces.
Hide Face Video may use CloudKit to keep track of trial state and app-linked account records.
Apple handles Sign in with Apple and subscription billing through its own services.

How Hide Face Video Uses Information

Detect faces and apply the redaction style you select
Save your project settings and export choices
Recognize your trial or paid access state
Support Sign in with Apple, restore, and subscription management flows

Sharing and Export

Hide Face Video shares your information only when you choose to export or send a result out of the app.

If you export a redacted video, the exported file is handled by the app or service you choose next.
Hide Face Video does not sell your video data.
Hide Face Video does not use your footage for advertising.

What Hide Face Video Does Not Do

Hide Face Video does not guarantee perfect face removal or anonymity.
Hide Face Video is not a legal review service or a compliance tool.
Hide Face Video is not intended for law enforcement, emergency response, or forensic use.

Retention and Deletion

Your source videos remain on your device unless you delete them or remove the app.
Trial and account records may remain in CloudKit until you remove the app account state or request deletion where available.
Apple subscription records remain managed by Apple under your Apple ID.

Children

Hide Face Video is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

If this Privacy Policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same URL.
